RadioLab - Surfaces (3 of 5)

Real Time Shader Technology

The PYTHA real time shader technology creates breathtaking visual effects. Thus you can e.g. simulate mirror effects and matt reflecting surfaces, water surfaces with waves and extremely realistic refractions or make surfaces look rough. You will not notice any additional calculating time! » next

No matter whether you are a woodworker, an exhibition designer, an interior decorator or an architect, the materials you apply are of vital importance for the look of your designs. RadioLab has a huge range of functions to simulate the surface properties of your objects. You have the choice of a wide range of pre-defined materials that can be edited and combined in any way.

Even when working with textures and materials the real time features of PYTHA are extremely useful. Whereas conventional rendering software restarts the visualization calculation after each change in a scene in RadioLab you will see the results immediately. Whether you try a varnished surface, metal, stone, wood, glass or chrome – you will easily find the material the gives your design the neatest touch.

As making changes is so fast and easy your client can take part in the design process. Together you can try out different variants and combinations of materials and you can make the right choice in mutual agreement.

Water with wave motions is represented in real time using a special water shader

Simulation of a structured surface using a bump shader. The roughness can interactively be manipulated.

RadioLab easily simulates refraction at uneven transparent parts in real time.
